These Revised Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern registration and participation in all training programs, activities, events, and services offered by Peninsula Sports Academy (the “Academy”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms specifically pertain to the youth sports development programs (football, boxing, etc.) and do not cover the Peninsula Club, Recovery, Strength & Conditioning Building services, or general facility use by non-program participants, which are governed by separate agreements.
By submitting a registration form and/or allowing a child to attend any Academy activity, the parent or legal guardian (“Parent/Guardian”) and the registered participant (“Player”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If the Player is a minor (under 18), the Parent/Guardian enters into this Agreement on their behalf.
In these Terms, unless the context requires otherwise:
2.1 By completing registration and/or allowing the Player to participate, the Parent/Guardian confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
2.2 The Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the Academy’s official channels (website, email, WhatsApp, or other communication tools). Continued participation after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3.3 The Academy may request official documents (e.g., ID, passport, Iqama, medical reports) to verify age or identity. Failure to provide valid documents may result in rejection or cancellation of registration.

4.4 Methods of Payment: Payments may be made via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, payment gateways, POS, or other methods designated by the Academy.
4.5 Price Changes: The Academy reserves the right to change its Fees at any time. Any changes will not affect already paid periods but will apply to future renewals or registrations.
5.1 Registration fees and administrative charges are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, except where required by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
5.2 Monthly/Term Fees are non-refundable once the training period (Term) has started, even if the Player:
5.3 In cases of proven long-term medical injury or serious illness that prevents participation (supported by a valid medical report from a licensed physician), the Academy may, at its sole discretion:
5.4 If the Academy cancels a full program, season, or significant portion of it for reasons under its control (not force majeure), it may offer replacement sessions, or partial refund or credit, as determined by the Academy.
5.5 No cash refunds will be provided for missed sessions, public holidays, weather disruptions, or schedule changes.
6.1 The Academy will define training schedules, days, and times for each group or program.

6.3 The Parent/Guardian is responsible for ensuring the Player’s punctual attendance and informing the Academy in advance of planned absences where possible.
6.4 Repeated unexcused absences may affect the Player’s position in the group or eligibility for certain teams and events.
7.1 For safety reasons, the Academy may cancel or reschedule sessions due to extreme heat or weather conditions, poor air quality, or governmental orders and public safety directives.
7.2 In such cases, the Academy may provide alternative indoor sessions (if available), or reschedule sessions where practicable.
7.3 No refunds are due for cancellations or changes caused by factors beyond the Academy’s reasonable control (force majeure).
8.1 The Parent/Guardian confirms that the Player is physically fit and able to participate in sports activities. Any known medical conditions, allergies, or limitations must be disclosed to the Academy in writing during registration and updated if circumstances change.
8.2 The Parent/Guardian is responsible for any regular medication the Player requires and informing the Academy of any new medical condition or injury.
8.3 The Parent/Guardian authorizes the Academy, in case of injury or medical emergency, to administer basic first aid, arrange for the Player to receive medical treatment from appropriate medical personnel or facilities, and contact emergency services if necessary.
8.4 All costs of medical treatment, transportation, and any related expenses are the sole responsibility of the Parent/Guardian. The Academy’s staff are trained in basic first aid only and are not licensed medical professionals. Any decision to call emergency services is made in good faith, and the Academy assumes no liability for the outcome of such emergency medical intervention.
8.5 The Academy strongly recommends that Players be covered by appropriate health and accident insurance. The Academy is not an insurer and does not provide medical insurance for Players unless explicitly stated in writing.
9.1 The Parent/Guardian understands and accepts that sports activities carry inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, impacts, or other physical harm.
9.2 By registering the Player, the Parent/Guardian voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in Academy activities and acknowledges that the Academy cannot guarantee injury-free participation.
9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Parent/Guardian hereby releases, waives, and agrees not to hold liable the Academy, its owners, directors, employees, coaches, agents, partners, contractors, volunteers, and third-party service providers from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from injuries or accidents during training, matches, travel, or related activities, and loss or damage to personal property brought to the Facilities.
9.4 This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct, where such exclusion is not permitted by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
10.1 The Academy expects professional, respectful behavior from all Players and Parents/Guardians at all times.
10.2 The Player must follow coaches’ instructions and safety rules, show respect to teammates, opponents, referees, and staff, avoid abusive language, bullying, harassment, violence, or any form of discrimination, and refrain from damaging equipment or Facilities.
10.3 The Parent/Guardian must treat staff, coaches, referees, and other families with respect, avoid interfering with coaching decisions or disrupting sessions, and refrain from aggressive behavior, insults, or public criticism of staff or Players.
10.4 The Academy may, at its discretion, apply disciplinary measures, including verbal or written warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion from the Academy without refund, in serious or repeated cases.
10.5 Any damage to property or equipment caused intentionally or by negligence may be charged to the Parent/Guardian.
10.6 Peninsula Sports management has the full right to immediately terminate the Player’s membership without any refund in cases of physical aggression, violence, repeated offensive language, or aggressive/disruptive behavior by the Parent/Guardian. Such decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
11.1 The Player and Parent/Guardian agree to follow all posted rules and staff instructions regarding the use of Facilities.
11.2 The Academy may restrict access to certain areas or Facilities at specific times for safety, maintenance, or events.
11.3 Players must wear appropriate sports gear, including Official Academy kit where required, proper footwear, and any mandatory protective equipment.
12.1 Players are advised not to bring valuables (such as jewelry, electronic devices, or large sums of money) to the Academy.
12.2 The Academy is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings at the Facilities, parking areas, or during Academy activities.
13.1 The Parent/Guardian is responsible for arranging safe transportation to and from the Academy.
13.2 The Academy is responsible for Players only during official training times and within the designated training areas.
13.3 The Parent/Guardian must ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of the Player and inform the Academy in writing if another authorized adult will pick up the Player.
13.4 The Academy is not responsible for Players outside scheduled training times or outside the designated training areas.
14.1 By registering, the Parent/Guardian grants the Academy the right, without compensation, to photograph, video record, and otherwise capture images or audio of the Player during Academy activities, and use such materials for the Academy’s marketing, social media, website, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
14.2 If the Parent/Guardian wishes to limit the use of the Player’s image, they must notify the Academy in writing via the designated opt-out process during registration. The Academy will make reasonable efforts to respect such request, but cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all group media.
15.1 The Academy collects and processes personal data (such as names, contact details, and medical information) to manage registration and payments, communicate with Parents/Guardians, and provide safe and appropriate training environments.
15.2 The Academy will take reasonable measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access and will not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
15.3 The Academy may share necessary information with coaches and staff for safety and management, medical personnel in emergencies, and official federations or authorities when required for registrations or compliance.
16.1 The Academy provides a custom-built digital application (the “Peninsula Application”) to manage operations, facilitate communication, and enhance the Player and Parent/Guardian experience. Use of the Peninsula Application is subject to these Terms and any additional terms and conditions presented within the application itself.
16.2 Data Collection & Usage: By using the Peninsula Application, the Parent/Guardian consents to the collection and processing of data, including Player Registration Data, Attendance Data (via facial recognition/geolocation), Payment Data, Performance Data, and Communication Data.
16.3 Facial Recognition & Geolocation: The Parent/Guardian explicitly consents to the use of facial recognition technology for attendance tracking and geolocation services for monitoring Player presence within designated Academy areas. This data is used solely for operational purposes and Player safety.
16.4 Parent Video Monitoring: The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and consents to the potential future implementation of a video monitoring system within Academy training areas, accessible via the Peninsula Application. This feature is intended for parental observation of training sessions and Player safety. The Academy will provide further specific terms and conditions upon the activation of this feature.
16.5 Peninsula Community: The Peninsula Application may include a social media-like environment (“Peninsula Community”). Users are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct (Section 10) within this community. The Academy reserves the right to moderate content and suspend or terminate access for violations.
16.6 Data Security: The Academy implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data within the Peninsula Application. However, no digital system is entirely secure, and the Academy cannot guarantee absolute data security.
16.7 Intellectual Property: All content, features, and functionality of the Peninsula Application, including but not limited to software, designs, text, graphics, and data, are the exclusive property of Peninsula Sports and its licensors.
17.1 The Academy aims to develop Players’ skills, mindset, and physical performance, but does not guarantee selection into specific teams or competitions, nor professional contracts, club signings, or scholarships.
17.2 Team selection, playing time, and participation in events or elite programs are based on performance, effort and attitude, attendance and discipline, and technical/tactical considerations determined by the coaching staff.
17.3 All selection decisions are at the sole discretion of the Academy’s technical staff.
18.1 These Terms apply from the date of registration submission, and for the duration of the Player’s participation in any Academy program.
18.2 The Academy may suspend or terminate the Player’s participation, with immediate effect, in case of repeated or serious violation of the Code of Conduct, non-payment of Fees, or behavior that endangers others’ safety or damages the Academy’s reputation.
18.3 The Parent/Guardian may withdraw the Player at any time by written notice, but this does not entitle them to a refund of already paid Fees except as explicitly stated in these Terms.
18.4 Peninsula Sports management reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to decline the renewal or extension of any Player’s subscription once the paid subscription period ends, for any reason whatsoever, without the obligation to provide justification.
19.1 The Academy is not liable for any delay, interruption, or cancellation of activities due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics or health emergencies, government regulations, or civil unrest.
19.2 In such circumstances, the Academy may adapt the training model (e.g., online/remote sessions where possible), or reschedule activities when feasible.
19.3 In the event of a government-mandated shutdown or restriction due to a pandemic or similar public health crisis, the Academy reserves the right to transition to online or remote training programs. No refunds will be issued for such transitions, and fees will remain payable as scheduled.
20.1 The Academy will primarily communicate via email, SMS/WhatsApp, official social media or mobile applications, and website notices.
20.2 The Parent/Guardian is responsible for providing accurate contact details and regularly checking messages and updates from the Academy.
21.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
21.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Player’s participation in the Academy shall first be submitted to good faith mediation in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. If the dispute is not resolved through mediation within sixty (60) days, it shall then be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
22.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any specific program conditions or written agreements, constitute the entire understanding between the Academy and the Parent/Guardian.
22.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
22.3 Non-Transferability: The Player’s registration and any related benefits are personal and may not be transferred to another person without the Academy’s written consent. The Parent/Guardian may not sell, transfer, or assign their rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party.
22.4 Language: The Academy may provide these Terms in Arabic and English. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English and Arabic versions of these Terms, the Arabic version shall prevail.
22.5 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Academy’s total aggregate liability to the Parent/Guardian and Player for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or participation in the Programs, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the total amount of Fees paid by the Parent/Guardian to the Academy in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
22.6 Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights in the Academy’s training methodologies, programs, content, digital platforms (including the Peninsula Application), and any materials provided to Players or Parent/Guardians are owned by Peninsula Sports. No part of these may be reproduced, distributed, or used without the express written permission of Peninsula Sports.
22.7 Waiver of Class Action: The Parent/Guardian and Player agree that any dispute resolution proceedings, whether in court or through mediation, will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
